Our usual delivery charge for all non-'Reader Offer' items is calculated at 6.5%, (the equivalent to approximately £1.00 [or less] per DVD/item purchased). This will automatically be calculated by PayPal when orders are submitted. All orders over £75 are postage FREE. 'Reader Offer' DVDs are a fixed price to cover Post & Packaging and so no additional charge is added.

Delivery is by Royal Mail or TNT Post (UK) and AirMail for the rest of the world.

Is purchasing on this site secure?

Yes. All web purchases are via PayPal. In addition we respect the privacy of all our customers and so we do not pass on any addresses or other information to third parties.

Can I pay by cheque or postal/money order?

We accept payment by post, but for security reasons we process credit and debit cards only via PayPal through this site. If you wish to pay by cheque please make cheques payable to VIEWPOINT PRODUCTIONS and send to the address on the Contact Us page. (Don't forget to include your details and what you wish to order!)

What is the difference between PAL and NTSC format?

Essentially different parts of the world have different formats. Disks may lookthe same but they won't necessarily play successfully if they are not the correct format. Broadly speaking the UK, Australia and most of Europe use PAL format; the United States, Canada and Japan use NTSC. We have detailed lists of country requirements and will send the appropriate format for the area where the item is to be delivered. Please contact us if you are in need of further help.

How are the DVDs packaged?

We always use AMARAY library cases for all our DVD products. They are recognised worldwide as just about the best available.

Are any titles available on VHS video?

Any products still available in VHS tape are displayed in the Online Shop. If an item is avalble in both DVD and VHS this will be indicated at the bottom of the info page, accessed by clicking the small image or description.

Are any of the DVD titles in HD (High Definition)?

At this moment all our DVDs are sold in Standard Definition (SD). Most of our new productions however, have been shot in HD so we will be releasing HD versions of programmes in due course as demand increases.

Can we buy products to re-sell in our shop?

Yes. We offer trade discount to retailers and those buying in bulk for groups and societies. Please contact us by email or 'phone for full details.

I have some old film footage and wondered if it could be of interest?

Old footage shouldn't be disposed of without checking its content. What might seem quite mundane may have great intrinsic value. If you have footage you think could be of interest for inclusion in a future programme please get in contact. We will also be glad to advise you on how to store it or put you in contact with a regional public archive.

Beware of old 35mm NITRATE film stock. It can self-combust and is lethal. Be exceptionally careful in handling this material as it can become very unstable. This needs to be stored in specialist conditions and should never be sent via mail or ordinary currior. If you have any material you suspect could be nitrate-based seek specialist advice and on no account store it at home!

Does Viewpoint Productions take on commissions?
